Bare-headed bust to left, holding spear in his right hand over right shoulder and shield over his left shoulder; in field to left, Zangid tamgha; around, legend in Kufic, 'Duriba bi-Sinjar sana sittah' wa tis'in wa khamsami'a'. Rev. Legend in Kufic in four lines, 'al-Imam al-Nasir / li-din Allah / al-Malik al-Mansur / Qutb al-Dunya wa al-Din'; Legend around in Kufic, 'Muhammad / bin Mawdud / bin Zengi'.
